A piece of my New York Jacket (Paton's Divine pattern)...I decided to start taking pictures close up to perhaps use as texture backgrounds, maybe for stationery, maybe for the scrapbooking of my knitting. Maybe for instructional use in the future?? In the meantime, I 'woosied-out' on making this pattern in one piece, primarily over my nervousness over placement of the button-holes. The pattern suggests making the left-hand piece, and working out the button placement with markers, then making the right side with button-holes based on the marker placement. Makes sense, but I hate having to cast on three separate pieces, then sewing it all together at the end.
